3 States

Water. So simple. So basic. As necessary for life as air. Seventy percent of our brains are made of it. In a given century, a water molecule spends 98 years in the oceans, 20 months as ice, about 2 weeks in lakes and rivers, and less than a week in the atmosphere. These are pictures showing water in all 3 of those states – liquid, solid, and gas.
